About this event
This four-week series introduces participants to Makko Ho, a traditional Japanese movement practice that improves flexibility, restores balance, and supports overall well-being. This class blends the traditional Japanese Makko Ho with elements of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, tapping techniques, abdominal breathing, yoga, and Radio Taiso (Japanese morning exercises). Led by Silvia Velarde, a dedicated student of Grand Master Kumiko Kanayama at the Five Lights Center of Shiatsu Studies in NYC.
