About this event
While we think of the Bronx as a built up and modern, it actually still contains much of its historic and prehistoric character in full view if one knows where and how to look. This talk will provide a glimpse into some of the fantastic locations in the Bronx. Some reach back 1,000s of years while others date back only a few decades. From Native Americans to Colonists, Revolutionary War to Recreation, the borough has everything a lover of history could want. Presented by Eugene J. Boesch Ph.D. Done in collaboration with Mainstream of WCC. Funded through the US Department of Health & Human Services—Administration on Aging (AoA), New York State Office for the Aging, Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services.
